Armonie Kialunda: From Paris To Accra With Love -My EchoHouse Internship Experience

My name is Armonie and I live in France. I had the opportunity to do a two-week internship at a 360 Marketing
Agency, EchoHouse, in Accra, Ghana. This experience, which was curated by Sailing Stone, truly turned out to be both enriching and inspiring.

During this internship, I met amazing people who taught me a lot about the world of digital marketing. I learned, in particular, how important it is to understand your target audience, to identify the right channels to reach them effectively, and above all, to truly master your subject.

At EchoHouse, the atmosphere is unique: the agency is full of different rooms buzzing with creative personalities who are passionately and wholeheartedly involved in their projects. I had the chance to interact with all the teams, including Content Directors, Head of Strategy, Graphic Designers, Human Resources and other teams.

Each person took time out of their day to answer my questions, which was incredibly valuable for me.

This internship was a real immersion into a field I had never explored before. What struck me the most was the authenticity of the people I met, a quality that clearly shines through in the richness and originality of their work.

Within the agency, there are content creators, client service teams, artists, and designers. To me, having the chance to express your creativity at work is truly priceless.

That said, working at EchoHouse is not for everyone: you need to know how to take initiative, be dynamic, confidently show your personality, and bring new ideas to the table.

In conclusion, this experience was eye-opening for me. It made me want to pursue a career in an
agency, to discover more African countries, and to take inspiration from the Ghanaian approach
to marketing.
